Bruna Marquezine Confirms Split From Neymar
Recently, model Bruna Marquezine talked about her break-up with long-term boyfriend and football legend Neymar. The 23-year-old model revealed that it was Neymar who took the decision of breaking up. But there is still “a lot of love” between them.
“It was a decision that came from him, but there is a lot of respect, a lot of love, for him and for everything that we have lived for,” Bruna Marquezine revealed in an interview with Vogue. “You know I do not usually talk about my personal life. I’ll talk about it because I have to talk, but it will only be once.”
However, Marquezine did not dive into any more details. Interestingly there have been rumors about the pair being at odds over politics in their native country at that time. But Bruna cleared that it was not the reason for the breakup.

Bruna Marquezine And Neymar’s Relationship Timeline
The celebrity couple met at the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro in 2012 and started dating soon after. They have been dating each other on and off for 6 years. Bruna and Neymar initially broke up in 2013 just after dating for a year.
But the duo got back together right before the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Following their final split in 2018, Neymar even defended Bruna online when she had to delete her account because of bullying. Neymar has dated several other people since their split but Bruna and Neymar remain close friends since this day.
