Christina Applegate has been put through the wringer. The ‘Married… With Children’ and ‘Anchorman’ actress was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008. Luckily, she was cancer free, a double mastectomy later. However, the actress announced her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2021.
Thanks to the support of co-star and showrunner Christina Applegate has been able to wrap her work on the final season of the Netflix series ‘Dead To Me.’ Since the disease has dramatically diminished her, she has no plans to continue working on camera. But she’s still looking to pursue voiceover work.

‘Dead To Me’ Is Christina Applegate’s Final On-Screen Role
Following the wrap of ‘Dead To Me,’ Christina Applegate has announced she won’t be any more on-screen acting. Following her MC diagnosis, life has gone from bad to worse as she struggled to keep her career and life afloat. Despite her failing body, she remained a professional consummate and finished working on ‘Dead To Me.’
Christina Applegate told Variety, “Ping-pong is so much more fun when the other person is just as good as you are. I’m probably not going to work on-camera again, but I’m so glad that I went out with someone who is by far the greatest actress I’ve ever worked with in my entire life if not the greatest human I’ve ever known.”

Christina Applegate To Voice Kelly Bundy In ‘Married With Children’ Animated Series
Despite leaving acting, Christina Applegate is still open to doing voice work to keep herself and her family going. She opened up about her decision to continue working in this capacity, “I can’t even imagine going to set right now. This is a progressive disease. I don’t know if I’m going to get worse. I can do voiceover stuff because I have to support my family and keep my brain working.”
Christine Applegate will return to voice Kelly Bundy in the ‘Married With Children‘ animated series if all goes well. It was announced back in 2022. She has confirmed the original cast of the sitcom ‘Married With Children’ is attached. However, she’s not sure if the series will move forward.
