After a long-needed merger with Discovery, Warner Bros. and DC collaboration had a new turn. James Gunn and Peter Safran were announced as head honchos at the DC studios. DC is completely replenishing the DCU with new characters and storylines. There is also a revival of some beloved characters like Superman. But, two weeks after his recruitment, James Gunn teased about a character that Jason Momoa once considered playing.
Recently, James Gunn joined Mastodon, a microblogging app with open server software. On the app, he teased a picture of a DC villain Lobo. So, now there is a long association between Jason Momoa and the character Lobo. He said that his dreams will now come true after James Gunn and Peter Safran are recruited at DC. So, can we expect Jason Momoa to be in the role of the baddie villain, Lobo?

Peter Safran and James Gunn will lead the Film, TV, and Animation Division at DC studios. When asked Jason Momoa after the appointment of these two as heads, he was nothing but excited about the move. He said, “I think with Peter Safran and Mr. Gunn at the helm now of DC, very excited about that, there’s a lot of cool things that are gonna be coming up, and one of my dreams come true will be happening under their watch. So, stay tuned.”
During a promotional interview with ComicBook for his film ‘Slumberland’, he was amazed at James Gunn’s Lobo post. The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ helmer posted a picture on his Mastodon writing, “Glad to be here.” The interviewer showed the picture to him and said, “Is your statement and his post connected?” Momoa gave a cryptic reply and employed fans to dig out information.
The ‘Aquaman’ star said, “Well, everyone knows I’m a comic book fan. The comic I collected the most, and I have every comic there is… you can do your research and find out what it is.”

The origin of this Lobo story was when Zack Snyder asked Jason to audition for Batman. He was sure that he was not the best choice for the role. This audition happened before he bagged the part of ‘Aquaman’.
But, he got a call from Zack, who told him, “Do you know who I want you to play?” Jason replied,” ‘Lobo.’ A long-haired, cigar-smoking, motorcycle-riding alien bounty hunter from the DC Comics universe.” Now, fans are all in for the ride to see Momoa sketch the character of this DC baddie.
