Marvel introduced musician Harry Styles as Starfox, the brother of Thanos, in a post-credit scene in Chloé Zhao’s ‘Eternals‘. Ever since then fans are questioning when they will get to see Starfox again on the big screen.
After ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ trailer was released at the San Diego Comic-Con fans were hoping to see the Guardians crossing paths with Starfox. Recently James Gunn the director of the movie talked about this speculation of the fans and cleared their doubts.

What Did James Gunn Have To Say
In the trailer of the movie ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ the fans got to see what will happen to Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord and his crew in the future. As both ‘The Marvels‘ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3’ are the only MCU films that will have an extra-terrestrial setting, fans were hoping to see Starfox. But unfortunately, James Gunn, the director of the movie, shot down the rumors completely.
“Nope!” Gunn definitively declared to ExtraTV. “I’m setting the record straight. He’s not [in the movie] – Starfox doesn’t pop up.” The director even talked about the movie saying, “I feel really good about the movie. What I want is for people to just experience this movie in some small way, in the way we are, as a real true culmination to this story and the story of our lives.”
Will Harry Styles Comeback As Starfox?
Now the question is when the fans will get to see their beloved Harry Styles as Starfox again. It is likely that he will appear in an ‘Eternals‘ sequel. But unfortunately no such announcement was made on the roster for Phases 4, 5 or 6.
Even after all this, there is some relief for the fans as Kevin Feige has already declared that Starfox’s story will be explored further in future. “The adventures of Eros and Pip is something that is very exciting for us,” Feige commented recently while speaking to MTV News.
