Rebel Wilson is spilling some dramatic secrets of her life ahead of the release of her bold new memoir ‘Rebel Rising‘. The actress is seemingly not going to leave any stone unturned in her memoir. While she has been constantly in the limelight for the past few months as she revealed details of sexual assault, body shaming, and her sexual life, the comedian has now revealed the name of the actor she lost her virginity to at 35.
The 44-year-old actress has already opened up about being a “late bloomer”, as she lost her virginity late in life at the age of 35. In a more recently released excerpt of her memoir, she revealed that the person she had her first sex with was none other than “Mickey” – better known as Mickey Gooch Jr. Wilson said he did not know about it even though they were romantically linked in 2015.
In a revelation addressed directly to Gooch, Wilson admitted, “Micks, I know this might be news to you if you are reading this, but yes, I lost my virginity to you.” The two were in a relationship for six months. They were first introduced to each other by Wilson’s ‘Pitch Perfect‘ co-star Hana Mae Lee.
Rebel Wilson Narrates The Details Of Her Decision To Have Sex
Rebel Wilson said that it was after Gooch came into her life that she realized that “life is short“, especially after her mother’s cancer diagnosis. “I didn’t want to live my life without experiencing sex. Experiencing love. I put it out into the universe that I was finally ready. I was going to feel the fear and just do it,” Wilson wrote in her book.
She recalled preparing herself with “a vibrator” and “some porn movies,” as she was staying at a hotel stay while filming ‘How to Be Single’ with the actor. “And then it just happens,” she recalled.
“I finally have sex. And I guess I get those lovely sex chemicals into my body for the first time ever, which really bonds me to him. I’m at almost my highest weight, but this great guy finds me desirable. It feels amazing.”
In a recent interview with People, Wilson explained why she decided to disclose such personal details. She said she aims to convey a positive message to young people, asserting that everyone has their own timeline for intimate experiences.
