Zachary Levi Was Stoked With Gal Gadot’s Cameo In ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’
We witnessed Billy Batson and his team fight the daughters of Atlas in ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods.’ The Greek mythology trope is traced back to the Themysciran princess, Wonder Woman, the daughter of Zeus. Gal Gadot wore the superhero cape again in two scenes in the Zachary Levi-starrer. We see Billy having a date with Diana in Paris, but like Superman, we only see her head. However, in the final scene, Wonder Woman resuscitates Billy after he succumbs to his injuries.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Zachary Levi gave his reaction to the Gal Gadot cameo and how it came into play. He said, “I was just stoked that she was down to it. She crushes it. It was really cool that Gal was down to play in our sandbox.” He continued, “She was busy working. She was shooting something else entirely, so we had a body double on our end. Then we were able to shoot her stuff on another side.”
Levi added, “I think they did a great job seamlessly cutting all that together. And I love that Billy is so in love with her. He’s so infatuated, and he’s so nervous! That was fun to tap into. It felt like going back to being my 17-year-old self.”

Amidst this, The Hollywood Reporter report suggested that the third ‘Wonder Woman’ film is halted. The director, Patty Jenkins, submitted a draft to the executives at the new Warner Bros. and Discovery partnership.
