Zachary Levi Lends Support To Newly Appointed DCU Bosses
During the LA premiere of ‘Shazam! Fury Of The Gods‘ on March 14, 2023, Zachary Levi spoke highly of the new DCU leadership, saying, “I do know that Peter (Safran), who I’ve known for years, and James (Gunn) who I’ve even known longer, are really excellent leaders. And I trust where they’re going to take all this stuff,” said Levi according to Deadline.
Zachary Levi also took this opportunity to wax lyrical about the movie and whether the team will return one more time, saying “It all comes down to what the people want.” Levi is also open to appearing in other DC movies. Rachel Zegler, who plays Althea in the film, is confident of the franchise’s future.

After the 2019 film ‘Shazam!‘ success, DCU and Warner Brothers quickly commissioned a sequel. Based on the comic book character, ‘Shazam!‘ stars Asher Angel as Billy Batson, whose life takes a huge turn when he inherits superpowers from a powerful wizard. Zachary Levi plays Billy’s superhero alter ego, Shazam. In ‘Shazam! Fury Of The Gods‘, Billy Batson and his friends face the Daughters of Atlas.
The daughters arrive on Earth to reclaim the power stolen from the gods. Shazam and his allies get thrust into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the world’s fate. Directed by David F. Sandberg and co-written by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan, ‘Shazam! Fury Of The Gods’ stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, and Djimon Hounsou.
