With ‘Superman: Legacy’ being under production, Gunn revealed that work on Peacemaker Season 2 will begin shortly after wrapping up ‘Superman: Legacy’. James Gunn’s Plans For ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2
While appearing in the podcast episode of Inside of You with Michael, James Gunn said “No, Peacemaker’s coming back right after Superman. That’s my next thing. Yeah, I go straight from Superman to Peacemaker“. Indicating that Gunn is not planning to take any break between these two projects.
Also in a recent interview, James Gunn mentioned that the Amanda Waller spinoff show will release prior to ‘Peacemaker’ and both the projects will include “a lot of the same people”. “But ‘Waller”s first. And ‘Waller”s a lot of the same people from ‘Peacemaker.’ So I mean, this is all… But yeah”. The DCEU executive also added that The Suicide Squad will not be receiving any sequel.

What Is ‘Peacemaker’ About?
‘Peacemaker‘ revolves around Christopher Smith played by John Cena who was first seen in ‘The Suicide Squad‘. The series explored Smith’s complicated and twisted moral codes as he dives to extreme lengths to protect the world.
