Amidst all these, Gunn revealed an exciting update on ‘Superman Legacy‘ and ‘The Brave and The Bold‘.

‘Superman Legacy’ And ‘The Brave And The Bold’: What To Expect
During a Q-and-A session with the fans on Threads, the DC director James Gunn responded to a fan’s question with an exciting update on the upcoming ‘Superman: Legacy’. The fan asked, “What percentage are you at with the Superman Legacy script?”. To this, Gunn responded, “99.9%. I’m always changing small things,” he added, but it’s been essentially done since well before the strike.”
Previously on Threads Gunn also responded to the rumors going around about Jensen Ackles embodying the role of Batman in ‘The Brave and the Bold’. However debunking those rumors, Gunn quickly responded by saying, “Ofc it’s false and there’s no script yet.”
As for ‘Superman Legacy’ David Corenswet will play the titular Clark Kent, along with Nicholas Hoult taking up the mantle of Lex Luthor. Rachel Brosnahan will be playing the role of Lois Lane, and María Gabriela de Faría will play another villain, The Engineer.

Casting Rumors Regarding ‘The Brave And The Bold’
Recently, the rumors went around that Jensen Ackles is being considered for the role of Batman, along with Ben Affleck returning to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne. Meanwhile, the cast for ‘Superman Legacy’ is locked, allowing Gunn is determined to focus on other projects including ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’.
‘The Batman and Robin’ story will be directed by Andy Mushchietti. However, the script is yet to be completed. The stars are yet to be cast for the role, but with several projects lined up, it might take some time for any solid information regarding the updates of the projects to be released.
