Through his incredible productions, Zack Snyder has made significant contributions to the DCEU realm, ranging from ‘Man Of Steel’ to ‘Aquaman‘. DC Studios is also introducing new projects to the universe with James Gunn and Peter Safran as the new leads for the development of the new timeline.
While Snyder is busy promoting his new movie, ‘Rebel Moon: Part 2- The Scargiver’ and has moved on from the DC universe, he still has an opinion on the new DC universe under the headship of Gunn.
Zack Snyder On New DCEU
Fans are eager to know Zack Snyder’s opinion on the new DC movies. While promoting his new movie ‘Rebel Moon: Part 2- The Scargiver‘, he sg=hared his opinion on what he wants to see in DCU with CBR. He wants the upcoming characters in the DCU to be treated right with respect and to feature the right source =material. He said, “You know, I’m a pretty open book. I feel like, you know, if the characters are treated with reverence, and mythologically correct, then I’m down. I’m in.“
He is supportive of Gunn and his new projects. Snyder continued, Let’s see what happens. I’m pretty excited[…] I mean, we’re going to get Superman pretty soon, so we’ll see what that’s like.”
Moreover, both the directors have been supportive of each other and replied to the fans asking about their opinions. One fan asked Gunn on Threads, “Do you see Zack Snyder is excited About The DCU?” To this, Gunn replied: “I didn’t, but I knew it already because he’s texted me. He’s been incredibly supportive throughout this process.”

James Gunn Sends Good Wishes To Snyder
Both Gunn and Snyder share a history, as they were directors of a movie called ‘Dawn Of The Dead’. Later they moved on with their different projects and became very successful directors of DCU. Both support each other whether on social media or during conferences. Gunn shared on X how Snyder got in touch with him after the news of Gunn’s new leadership in DC.
James Gunn wrote, “He contacted me to express his support about my choices. He’s a great guy, Again, he seems really happy with the massive world building he’s doing now.”
Gunn referred to the upcoming movies of the ‘Rebel Moon‘ franchise under Snyder. Even though the movies had an underwhelming performance, Snyder is optimistic about continuing the franchise.
