Emily Blunt is riding high on the success of ‘Oppenheimer’. Recently in an interview, she talked about wanting to make a sequel to ‘Edge of Tomorrow’. Undoubtedly, the Tom Cruise-starrer is one of the best action movies out there, and Blunt’s character is one powerful and independent woman we all love.
However, Blunt also talked about how the movie still gives her back pain. She also revealed some juicy insight into the chances of a sequel happening.

How Did ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ Give Emily Blunt Back Ache?
As part of promoting her newly released movie, ‘Oppenheimer‘, Emily Blunt appeared on the ‘Happy Sad Confused‘ podcast. And she had an interesting conversation with host Josh Horowitz. We got a glimpse of the interview when Horowitz posted it on his Instagram.
Horowitz asked her about her time on the movie set with the cumbersome exo-suit and whether she forgot it. Blunt quickly made it clear that she did not forget. “No, I don’t forget. No, my back still tweaks out on me sometimes. You know, I’ll like, turn funny in the car, and I’ll just be like, ‘Tom Cruise!’”, joked the ‘Mary Poppins’ star.
Blunt has talked about how challenging the costumes for ‘Edge Of Tomorrow’ were before as well. She even remembered when Tom Cruise had said to her to “stop being such a pussy” when she had broken down on set.

Will There Be A Sequel To ‘Edge Of Tomorrow’?
When Horowitz asked Emily Blunt whether he should stop asking about a sequel, she replied, “No, because I mean I wish there could be one”. And she confirmed that she has read a script as well.
“There was [a script] that Doug kind of slung slithered over to me. I would love to make it a reality, but I just don’t know when, or how, or how many Mission: Impossibles does he [Tom Cruise] need?”, said Blunt. She even promised that she is not an impediment and she is ready to make a sequel to ‘Edge Of Tomorrow’. But nothing is confirmed as of now.
