Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi certainly had electrifying chemistry in ‘Saltburn‘. As the two actors bonded on set, it helped the actors build a friendship even outside their work.
In a recent interview, Keoghan reveals details about his friendship with the ‘Euphoria’ star. And a cute, very special nickname he has for him.
Jacob Elordi And Barry Keoghan’s Friendship
Talking to Vanity Fair about his friendship with Jacob Elordi, Barry Keoghan said, “he’s my baby boy. I love Jacob. He’s one of my best friends.”
Opening up on this newfound friendship, Keoghan said, “Obviously we met on this movie and I was aware of his work, but he’s there for me and he’s always got my back. When we have time, we chat on the phone or we go see one another. That’s the beauty of making movies — you really do spark relationships with your costars.”
He continued, “It’s funny to see the internet go the way it’s going. I’m so comfortable with him, and I can be my true self around that lad. He’s a very intelligent, very fecking well-talented lad as well.”
He then also made a humorous comment on Elordi’s height and said, “And he’s so tall. I just want to say that. We know that for the record, but my God, he’s so tall. I looked at him on [Saturday Night Live] the other night and it’s like, ‘He’s so tall.’ We went to the LA Lakers game last year and we sat courtside. He was taller than half of them on the team. I was like, ‘Oh, man.’ It was brilliant.”

How Does Jacob Elordi Feel About Barry Keoghan?
Though Elordi has never spoken about his friendship with Keoghan, he did make a few statements praising his acting and said, “Barry’s like pure electricity when he acts. You really don’t know what’s gonna happen in a scene so you have to be on your toes, and I really appreciated that. Those little sparks and jabs.”
Responding to that, Barry praised the ‘Kissing Booth’ star’s acting by saying, “With Jacob, he matches your energy. He lets you take the lead and it comes back. It’s not the same thing over and over again, which I admire because then it allows me to react to what I’m seeing and what’s in front of me. It’s the sign of a really, really good actor.”
It’s clear that both the actors share a pretty solid bond and will probably work in the future again.
