The trailer of HBO’s ‘House of the Dragon‘ was released on Wednesday and has been well received. It is helmed by authors George R. R. Martin and Ryan J. Condal and will serve as a prequel to ‘Game of Thrones‘. You can expect lots of battles, betrayals, and, of course, dragons who roar as one.
‘Game of Thrones‘ enjoyed critical acclaim during its original run. But the last season and the final episode received poor responses – mainly because of the rushed ending, ruined character arcs, and an unsatisfying finale. We hope ‘House of the Dragon‘ is not like that.

The Trailer Of House Of The Dragon Looks Promising
The two-minute 49-seconds long trailer of the ‘Game of Thrones‘ prequel series ‘House of the Dragon‘ is gripping. It also gives a feeling of nostalgia seeing the dragons and the characters in similar outfits as in the original show. It depicts the life of the Targaryen family, leading up to the civil war.
The trailer has since generated excitement among the fans of the original show and Martin’s book. They took to Twitter to express their excitement for the prequel show. Many even declared the upcoming series better than the OG show.

‘House of the Dragon‘ is set two hundred years before the events of ‘Game of Thrones’ and follows the start of the end of House Targaryen. It will also cover the events leading up to the Targaryen civil war, also known as the “Dance of the Dragons.” The first 10-episode season is slated to premiere on August 21, 2022.
John Bradley Plans To Return In Jon Snow Spin-Off
Apart from ‘House of the Dragons‘, HBO is also creating another ‘Game Of Thrones‘ spin-off on Jon Snow, essayed by Kit Harington. He is expected to reprise the role.
John Bradley, who played Samwell Tarly in the original, recently opened up about his possibility to return. He said in an interview with Digital Spy, “I tend to think about it. I think we all left ‘Game of Thrones’ thinking that we’d played these characters for so long and they had such a life to them, we’d like to sort of check in with them and see how they’re getting on.”
The actor then added: “We played those parts for so long that as soon as we’d finished, we felt sort of free of them in a way. Because it’s a lot of story to carry around and a lot of emotional life to carry around with you. I think we’re all enjoying having a bit of a break from that and exploring new areas. But in the future, who knows? I haven’t spoken to anybody about the potential Jon Snow prequel, but if somebody wants to send a script my way I’d be interested to read it.”
