There are so many memorable friendships in Hollywood- Jason Momoa and Henry Cavill, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart. Above all these one of the fun-filled bromances is between Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds. They have trolled each other enough that the fans still don’t know when it’s gonna stop.
The two actors have the funniest feud ever. And most of these are good-natured. From commenting on each other’s posts to crashing interviews, these two have given a different face to friendship. So, did all this start? How did Jackman and Reynolds begin their lifelong friendship?

How Did Ryan Reynolds And Hugh Jackman Meet?
The two actors started their fake feud in 2009. They met at the making of the movie ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine‘, where Hugh Jackman played the titular role and Ryan Reynolds starred as Wade Wilson/Weapon XI. Hugh Jackman spoke to The Daily Beast about their first encounter, “I used to ream him because I was very close friends with Scarlett [Johansson], and Scarlett had just married Ryan, so when he came on set I was like, ‘Hey you better be on your best behavior here, pal, because I’m watching,’ and we started ribbing each other that way.” And this is how the iconic friendship marked its beginning.
They have made fun of each other multiple times. And here is one instance that they never let go of in their life. Hugh Jackman won the ‘Sexist Man Alive‘ title in 2008 while Ryan Reynolds won it in 2010. The actors still have a fun feud over the title.
This was tweeted by Hugh Jackman back in 2016 when Reynolds interviewed Jackman for his movie ‘Eddie the Eagle‘.
There were also times when the Wolverine actor and Deadpool actor made fun of each other using the paper cutouts of others’ faces as facemasks. Even birthday wishes were not devoid of something funny. The two actors had also taken their time to promote each other’s companies back in 2019. In a YouTube video posted by Reynold’s channel, Jackman said that the two stars had decided to call a truce in their social-media war. And the celebrities took to making ads for each other’s companies: Laughing Man Coffee (Jackman’s) and Aviation Gin (Reynold’s).

The Fun Trio: Hugh, Ryan, And Jake
Everything that Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman aimed at each other became the talk of the day. But in 2018, along with Jake Gyllenhaal, the two others went viral. In 2018, right before Christmas, Ryan celebrated it with Hugh and Jake in an ugly Christmas sweater. The photo posted by Ryan saw him with a sullen expression standing between Jackman and Gyllenhaal. The ‘Deadpool‘ actor captioned it, “These f**king a***oles said it was a sweater party.” The post became so viral that a load of memes was generated with the picture.
Recently the two came together to announce the release of the much-awaited film, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine‘ in which Jackman reprised his character who had died in ‘Logan‘ which was released in 2017. It’ll be interesting to see the camaraderie of Reynolds and Jackman during the film’s promotions and of course, fans are waiting for Deadpool and Wolverine action on screen.
