Rapper Cardi B is reportedly reconnecting with NFL free agent Stefon Diggs months after the couple split shortly after Super Bowl LIX. According to Us Weekly, Cardi B is giving Diggs “another chance” and has been “slowly letting him back in” following their breakup earlier this year. A source told the outlet that the two have recently resumed contact after spending several months apart.

“They’ve been in closer contact lately. Things are no longer contentious,” the source said. The insider added that Cardi “is not fully committing” to Diggs despite their recent reconciliation efforts. “She still has love for Stefon, which makes it difficult to walk away.”

The renewed relationship rumors gained momentum after the pair were spotted together at “A Moment for Moms,” a Mother’s Day event hosted by Diggs’ Diggs Deep Foundation on May 9. Photos and videos from the event showed Diggs with his arms around Cardi B’s waist. The couple welcomed their son in November 2025.

Cardi B and Diggs made their relationship Instagram official in June 2025. However, the pair reportedly split sometime before Super Bowl LIX on February 8, where the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13. Despite the reported breakup, Cardi B still attended the Super Bowl and appeared during Bad Bunny’s halftime performance as a background dancer alongside Pedro Pascal and Karol G.

The pair later fueled reconciliation speculation in April when Diggs attended Cardi B’s Little Miss Drama Tour stop at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Moreover, he was also seen at her afterparty at Throw Social later that night.

Stefon Diggs’ personal life developments come as the veteran receiver continues to wait for clarity regarding his NFL future. The four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver was released by the New England Patriots in March after one season with the franchise, despite signing a three-year, $69 million contract in 2025.

Last week, Diggs was found not guilty of felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault and battery charges tied to an alleged dispute with his former personal chef, Jamila Adams. The two day trial took place in Dedham, Massachusetts.

It remains unclear whether Diggs will face discipline from the NFL under the league’s personal conduct policy. “We have been monitoring all developments in the matter, which remains under review of the personal conduct policy,” NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said.
