‘Ballerina’ To Have A Fight Scene Between Ana De Armas And Keanu Reeves
Ana De Armas will be playing the role of ballerina-assassin Rooney in ‘Ballerina‘, which is a spin-off of the Keanu Reeves starrer ‘John Wick‘ franchise. The character was played by Unity Phelan in ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.’
According to Boss Hunting, the film will have an epic fight scene between Ana and Reeves’ characters. Rooney wants to take revenge for the murder of her family and will not spare anyone on her way.
The shooting has been going on in Prague for a while and the actress stated that the role has taken a physical toll on her. “I’m in pain. You know, my body, my back, everything hurts. I’m complaining, I’m sore, I’m bruised,” she said.

The Film Will Reunite Reeves And Ana
The Spanish-Cuban actress started her Hollywood career with Reeves in the 2015 psychological thriller ‘Knock Knock.’ They later collaborated again in the 2016 thriller ‘Exposed.’
Before the spin-off, Ana had shown her action and shooting skills in ‘No Time To Die‘. That probably led her to a full-fledged role in ‘Ballerina.’ Directed by Len Wiseman, the film is scheduled to hit the theaters sometime in 2024. It is also the fifth installment in the overall ‘John Wick‘ franchise.
Reeves and Ana will be reuniting after nearly eight years on screen. Talking about the experience of working with him, she said, “this man is just rolling and throwing me and doing crazy stunts. And I’m like — I can’t complain anymore. Because he is doing it! He truly is the best.”
