A movie that came with a subtle handsomeness and made an impact among the artsy films was the romantic movie ‘Call Me By Your Name’. The beauty and calm the movie had cannot be replaced by any other film to come. The movie was a love story between a young teenage boy and his father’s research student.
Set in 80s Italy, the movie was an adaptation of a book by the same name. The first movie had Timothée Chalamet as the teenage boy and Armie Hammer as the older lover. In 2019, the sequel to the first book came out which was named ‘Find Me’. The director Luca Guadagnino is all ready for producing a sequel to the 2017 hit.

Sequel To ‘Call Me By Your Name’
Guadagnino is currently working along with Timothée Chalamet on their new movie ‘Bones And All’. It was in an interview for the Variety cover story that the director talked about his wishes for the sequel. “I would love to make a second and third and fourth chapter of all my movies,” Guadagnino said. “Why? Because I truly love the actors I work with, so I want to repeat the joy of doing what we did together,” he added.
The storyline and plot have still not been decided. In the second book ‘Find Me’, the plot follows Elio’s father Samuel, and his romance with a woman named Miranda who is half his age.“There is no hypothesis, so there is no movie. It’s a wish and a desire, and I have not made up my mind about what would be the story,” Guadagnino said about his plans for the sequel.

Will Armie Hammer Be Part Of The Movie?
Armie Hammer plays a crucial role in the first movie and will potentially have an important role in the sequel too. But there are doubts if he will be part of the movie. This is because of the latest allegations against the actor. He has been accused of physical abuse and sexual assault. Whatever the case, Guadagnino has said that Hammer will be a part of the upcoming sequel.
In 2019, Armie Hammer had spoken to Vulture about the first movie, “I’m sort of coming around to the idea that the first one was so special for everyone who made it, and so many people who watched it felt like it really touched them or spoke to them,” he said. “And it felt like a really perfect storm of so many things, that if we do make a second one, I think we’re setting ourselves up for disappointment. I don’t know that anything will match up to the first, you know?” he added.
