‘Better Call Saul’ Mid-Season Premiere
The sixth and final season of ‘Better Call Saul’ consists of 13 episodes and is split into two parts. The first part premiered on 18 April this year and concluded on 23 May with seven episodes. The final six-episode will run from 11 July to 15 August.
The penultimate episode of the first part saw (Spoiler alert!) Jimmy and Kim’s plan working. They try to sabotage Howard’s image through various techniques and succeed in that.
Howard then reaches their home, confronting Kim and Jimmy that they humiliated him just for fun. Lalo Salamanca arrives at the same time to meet Jimmy and Howard is just at the wrong place at the wrong time. He is shot dead by Lalo.
Lalo wants access to his enemy Gustavo Fring via Jimmy. Jimmy then convinces Lalo to hold him hostage with Howard’s body and send Kim to murder a stranger and make it back with photographic evidence within an hour.
Jimmy then plans to evade Lalo’s wrath and save Kim. The rest of the episode sees one of the characters dying, some twists and turns that are signature to this show that will leave you wanting for more.
Last Episode Will Feature Walter White And Jesse Pinkman
Fans went crazy earlier when the makers of ‘Better Call Saul’ shared a picture of Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) and Walter White (Bryan Cranston), the two main characters of ‘Breaking Bad’. They have hinted that the characters will appear in the finale.
The final trailer showed us a glimpse into the life of Gene Takavic (played by Bob Odenkirk), who was formerly known by the names James “Jimmy” McGill and Saul Goodman. He is living in Omaha after the events of Breaking Bad.
In the flash-forward black and white scenes, Gene is recognized by people in several instances. It would be interesting to see how the show concludes taking both the present as well as the future of Saul Goodman to a satisfying end.
‘Breaking Bad,’ on the other hand, followed Walter White, a chemistry teacher who starts cooking crystal meth after he is diagnosed with cancer. Saul Goodman was a supporting character in that show who helps Jesse and White with their legal issues.
