‘SNL‘ just aired one of their best episodes after a series of lousy jokes and boring episodes, thanks to Ryan Gosling. The Oscar-nominated actor, who had one of the most flourishing and vibrant years of his career with the release of ‘Barbie’ came in to host an ‘SNL‘ episode that will definitely be remembered as one of the best ones to date.
Ever since ‘SNL‘ writers were sacked, viewers have complained about the quality of the show. After a long time, viewers got a fresh, funny, and fabulous episode, thanks to Gosling, who brought in his Kenergy.

Gosling, in his monologue, refuses to discuss his ‘Barbie‘ performance because, as he said, “Ken and I had to break up.” Instead, he talked about it musically. Putting on sunglasses and his character’s signature white fur coat, he performed a cover of Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well’. Gosling performs various skits, each funnier than the last, joined by a bunch of other stars, who occasionally kept breaking character. Not an error. It’s just how Gosling performs on ‘SNL‘.

Another surprise guest on the show was Emily Blunt, who joined in for a few jabs at Gosling for the whole ‘Barbenheimer‘ clash.
Emily Blunt And Ryan Gosling’s Spectacular Session
As Gosling belted Taylor Swift‘s ‘All Too Well‘ with lyrical changes, Emily Blunt showed up, hitting him with reality and asking him to stop obsessing over ‘Barbie‘, as she had done on the Oscars stage.
Blunt cut short Gosling’s song, angry that he was still singing about Ken while promoting their new film, ‘The Fall Guy‘. “I was gonna hit you with things and instead you’re singing about Ken again,” Blunt told him “Look here, you’re Kenning right now, and I hate that’s even a verb. I resent that. Take the fur coat off. You’re embarrassing yourself.”
She then added, “Guys, I don’t mean to be harsh, but Ryan, you have to move on. It’s time.” To which Gosling responded with another verse reminiscing his ‘Barbie‘ days.
Both actors are starring in their new film ‘The Fall Guy‘ that will be out this year. Blunt’s appearance on the show was a promo for the film, where Gosling plays a stuntman. The film will be out this May.
