Sam Neill Was Diagnosed With Blood Cancer
Actor Sam Neill is known for his performance in films of different genres and scales. Last year, the New Zealand actor got to know that he has blood cancer while he was promoting ‘Jurassic World Dominion‘ in Los Angeles.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, the 75-year-old actor opened up about his health, his new memoir ‘Did I Ever Tell You This?‘ and assured his fans about his remission. Last year, Neill discovered a swollen gland and the diagnosis revealed that it was stage three angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (blood cancer).
The actor underwent chemotherapy later on for three weeks and has been in remission. He stated that he was “possibly dying” while writing the book last year.

Neill Talks About Death
In the interview, Neill said that he is not afraid of dying and “couldn’t care less” about it. “But it would annoy me“, he said. “Because I’d really like another decade or two, you know? We’ve built all these lovely terraces, we’ve got these olive trees and cypresses, and I want to be around to see it all mature.”
He also talked about his family and grandchildren. “And I’ve got my lovely little grandchildren. I want to see them get big,” Neill said.
Later on, the actor took to Instagram to share a video where he assured his fans that he was alive and well. “So I hope you enjoy [the book], and let’s not worry too much about ‘all that’ because I’m fine,” he said.
