The upcoming Disney+ miniseries will mark the return of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. He will go at loggerheads with the Skrulls for “one last fight.” Its makers recently released a powerful trailer that is filled with great moments. So let’s take a closer look at Skrulls and the overall series.

‘Secret Invasion’ Trailer Released
On Sunday, Marvel launched a new trailer for one of its most anticipated miniseries, ‘Secret Invasion.’ The star cast includes Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, along with Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Don Cheadle, and Martin Freeman among others.
It tells the story of Fury who faces villains like Talos and former CIA agent Everett K. Ross along with a new entry called Skrulls. Gravik, who is the mastermind, is planning an operation to install shapeshifting Skrull double agents across the globe.
In September, the series’ first trailer was released, which hyped up the anticipation. In this trailer, Fury’s iconic eye patch is missing. “You can look at it and see he’s not this perfectly indestructible person. He doesn’t feel like that guy,” Jackson said about his eyepatch in n interview. The miniseries is set to premiere on June 21 on Disney+. It will kickstart Phase Five of MCU.

Who Are The Skrulls?
In the MCU, Skrulls are an extraterrestrial race from the planet Skrullos. Their biggest strength is their ability to shapeshift which was first introduced in ‘Captain Marvel.’
Talos is the leader of the Skrulls and was a victim of a genocidal war started by the Kre. Eventually, his faction came to earth to seek help from renegade Kree scientist Mar-Vell. They ask the scientist to develop a light-speed engine that could take all the Skrulls to safety.
Skrulls have appeared in films and show like ‘WandaVision’, ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’, ‘Loki’ and ‘What If…?’ Unlike the previous entries, Skrulls will feature extensively in ‘Secret Invasion.’
