Sky Daily Suffers Second Tragic Loss Following Death Of Hulk Hogan

Sky Daily Hogan is mourning the loss of her father, less than a year after the death of her husband and WWE icon, Hulk Hogan. Sky announced on Instagram on May 7th that her father, Kirk, had died following a battle with colon cancer.

In the emotional post, she reflected on the devastating year her family had endured after Hogan died from a heart attack in 2025 at the age of 71.

The 46-year-old wrote, “My father Kirk passed away last night after a hard battle with colon cancer that became increasingly difficult this last year. I’m especially thankful to his wife, Robin- thank you for taking such good care of my dad through all of this.”

She remembered her father as a passionate outdoorsman who created many of her most cherished childhood memories through their time spent in nature together.

She added, “He was a true outdoorsman. He loved hiking, camping, canoeing, wildlife, and teaching us every random forest trick he knew. He loved westerns and old kung fu movies too, and somehow made all of those things feel magical when we were kids. So many of my childhood memories are tied to the outdoors because of him.”

Sky also opened up about the emotional weight of losing both her husband and father within one year. “Losing my husband and my father in the same year has honestly gutted me,” she wrote.

She added that being able to spend time with her father in his final days brought her some peace. “I’m comforted somewhat knowing my sisters, and I got to be there with him, love him through it all, and make sure he never felt alone at the end,” she wrote. “I love you dad.”
