Who Is The Mysterious Meteor Man in ‘The Rings Of Power’?
The mysterious man first appears to viewers as a naked, bearded man in the burning crater of what seems to be a meteor. Even the fans who are devoted to the book could not discern the reason behind the introduction of this new character. This only means that the new character is completely off the charts and would even surprise the ones who know everything about the book.
The fans have found a poem written by J.R.R. Tolkien called ‘The Man in the Moon Came Down Too Soon‘. Even this poem failed incredibly to shed light on the subject at question. Some fans also bring in the theory that this man might be someone they have already met before. Could this man be the infamous Sauron?

Is Sauron The Mysterious Man In The Fantasy Show?
The mysterious man is credited as the ‘Stranger‘ by the viewers. Fans have come up with a lot of theories about who this character might be. Although, everyone knows this one is going to be a major shocker for every fan out there. One of the theories suggests that this ‘Stranger‘ might be Sauron himself.
In the First Age, Sauron remained hidden in Middle Earth and then resurfaced as ‘Annatar’. He betrayed the Elves by befriending them. Now, the theory circulates on the note that what if Sauron planned this surprise meteor attack to trick and deceive the inhabitants of Middle Earth? This theory is supported by the claim that in the posters, ‘Stranger’ can be seen holding an apple. A classic symbol of treachery and betrayal. The fans have also noted that the meteor crash site looked like the Eye of Sauron. This yet again adds firmly to the theory that the mystery man might be Sauron himself.
