The whole city is infected with an unknown virus, turning people into zombies. The school students and teachers try to escape from the situation, but not all the chance to survive. With humanity facing its greatest adversary, will the students be able to survive to see their parents?
3. Sword Art Online
Since the release of its very first episode, the anime series skyrocketed to the top rank. The popular series focuses on the protagonist and how he survives to stay alive in a game. A bunch of players gets stuck into a virtual game world, with the only means of defeating the ‘Boss’ on each level and getting out of the system live. But things don’t look as simple as they appear, with conspiracies brewing beneath them.

Kidnapped and stranded on an isolated island the protagonist and the others have to find a way to survive in the forest within an allotted time and reach the top. They are provided with arms to add a bit of firework to the gloomy site, making it bloody with violence. Unfortunately, it is an unfinished series which will make it crave more. But the episodes are engrossing with life on the line.
1. Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin
One of the most underrated anime that depicts the story of six prisoners trying their best to cope with their new lives in cells while problem knocks on their door. They are sent to reform schools with heavy crime charges. While helping each other in the gruesome atmosphere, they try to avoid the eyes of the guards and the doctor, only for futile results.
