Beckham has been in the news lately for personal reasons and it involves his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz.
Recently, Peltz and Victoria Beckham have been reportedly at loggerheads. The two are not on talking terms and that has led David to intervene. According to some reports, the athlete confronted his son over the drama. Let’s find out what exactly the former midfielder said.
David Beckham Confronted Brooklyn Over Nicola Peltz-Victoria Feud
The feud between Nicola Peltz and Victoria Beckham has been going on for a while. The feud has gone to the level where David had to intervene to resolve things.
According to The Daily Mail, the athlete “read the riot act” to his eldest child, Brooklyn. “I don’t think David has ever lost his temper with Brooklyn or had cause to talk to him harshly, but that has now finally happened,” a source said.
“He had it out with him and told him: ‘We don’t do this in our family — and you know that we don’t do this in our family,’” the insider added.
David allegedly told Brooklyn, “What happens next is up to you, but we are done with the drama.” The athlete was upset over Peltz and Brooklyn’s comments in an interview.
Peltz And Brooklyn Had Commented On Victoria Beckham
Peltz and Brooklyn tied the knot in April this year and since then both Peltz and Victoria are not getting along well. In the interview, Brooklyn talked about Peltz’s relationship with his mother.
“To be honest, my wife is obviously my first priority and I never want to see her upset ever,” he said. “When people do say ridiculous things, we just talk about it and we just move on.”
He continued, “We have each other’s back 100 percent and we just move on together.” Peltz also clarified why she decided to walk down the aisle in Valentino instead of a design by her mother-in-law.
“We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn’t hear anything. Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn’t make it. So, I spoke to my mom and [my stylist] Leslie [Fremar], and I was like, ‘Well, unfortunately, this can’t happen, so what’s the next step?’” she explained.
“I’ve been a fan of Valentino and their couture for so long. I was really lucky to be able to travel to [the atelier] to try on the dress. That’s really what happened.”
