    All About Espresso Machine Inventor Angelo Moriondo

    Angelo Moriondo came from a family of creative entrepreneurs and engineers. He lived in Italy with his family. His grandfather is known to have founded a liquor company which was later on passed to his son, i.e., Angelo’s father. His father then turned this liquor company into the famous chocolate company called Moriondo and Gariglio.

    During his time, making a single cup of coffee took a long time. This is when he thought of creating something that would make preparing coffee easier and faster, and also give him an edge over his competitors. And he succeeded in patenting the first espresso machine. Hence, he is considered the Godfather of Espresso machines.

    How Did Angelo Moriondo Die?

    The Godfather and creator and Espresso machines took his last breath on March 31, 1914. It has been more than a century since his death, but Moriondo is been remembered by makers of the beverage industry. However, the cause of his death is still unknown to us, as it has never been revealed by anyone.

    The Italian inventor lived for a good amount of 62 years, having been born in 1851 and taking his last breath in 1914. So now we know the person who made drinking coffee easier in our lives.
