Hugh Jackman’s Tedious Workout Schedule For ‘Deadpool 3’
This is not the first time an actor has complained about the strict Marvel workout schedule. After Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hiddleston, and Chris Hemsworth, Hugh Jackman opened up about his workout regime for his role as Wolverine in ‘Deadpool 3’.
For ‘Deadpool 3’, Jackman consumed 8,000 calories a day while bulking up once again as Wolverine. From lifting weights to cardio, it was more demanding and irksome than ever for Jackman who turned 55.
Even when ‘Deadpool 3’ had paused filming due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, Jackman was still working out, and maintaining his Wolverine physique. During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jackman revealed he had built up to eating 6,000 calories a day, which forced him to split his pants three times. Jackman also denied using steroids to play Wolverine, saying, “I just did it the old school way.” Out of all the Marvel actors, Hugh Jackman went through a tedious and aggressive workout regime given his age.
