It’s been half a decade since Marvel fans last witnessed the Avengers united on-screen. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has introduced a lot of fresh faces to pave the way for potential Young Avengers or Thunderbolts team-ups.
However, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as a cohesive team have been notably absent. Now, according to producer Nate Moore, ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ might mark the beginning of a new Avengers era.
Nate Moore Calls ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ The Cornerstone Of The MCU
Producer of ‘Captain America: Brave New World’, Nate Moore sees the following. as a cornerstone of the MCU’s future. “There’s so much more to explore with Captain America,” Moore explained in a recent interview with The Empire. Rather than simply focusing on superhuman strength, Sam Wilson’s leadership stems from his humanity and resilience.

“Sam doesn’t just represent America; he represents all people who are striving for justice,” Moore added. This new film will test that ideal against multiple overpowered antagonists, including Harrison Ford’s transformation into Red Hulk and Tim Blake Nelson’s The Leader.
Moreover, the question of Avengers leadership looms large over the film. “The Avengers are at their strongest when they rally behind a Captain America. Sam’s journey is not just about proving himself but redefining what it means to lead a team in a fractured world,” he explained.
Additionally, previously the new Captain America Anthony Mackie spoke about his excitement for the future. With ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘ already in sight, he’s looking forward to collaborating with Marvel veterans like Robert Downey Jr., and Chris Evans. “It’s surreal to imagine being at the center of that lineup. There’s magic when the Avengers come together, and I’m honored to be a part of that story,” Mackie stated.
Harrison Ford Also Spoke About His Surprisingly Casual Red Hulk Transformation
Joining ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is none other than screen legend Harrison Ford. Ford steps into the role of U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, a longstanding character in the MCU. Ross will transform into the formidable Red Hulk. However, Ford seems to approach with a remarkable sense of ease.

“I just wanted to be helpful to the filmmakers,” Ford told The Empire. “I didn’t sit around thinking, ‘How do I act like a Hulk?’ It’s not that kind of role for me.” Despite this understatement, those on set couldn’t stop praising his performance. Director Julius Onah also highlighted Ford’s ability to make the character unforgettable.
“Seeing him go all-in on Red Hulk was electrifying. Harrison has this energy that made everyone stop and watch, he’s iconic for a reason,” Onah shared. While trailers have teased Ross’s transformation, not much else is known about the film and the Red Hulk’s role. However, It’s clear that with ‘Brave New World’, the MCU is balancing the dawn of a new Avengers team with the evolution of its individual heroes.
