Chris Evans did one such cameo. No, he did not make a comeback as Captain America in the movie. However, he did make an appearance as the Human Torch aka Johnny Storm after 17 years. Evans thus penned down a thank you post on social media.

The Marvel movie debuted to a record-breaking $211 million. With stunning performances and surprising cameos, ‘Deadpool And Wolverine‘ lived up to the hype. One such performance was Chris Evans as Johnny Storm aka Human Torch. Evans played the role in the 2005 movie ‘Fantastic Four’.
After 17 years he reprised the role again in ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’. So Evans penned down a long post on Instagram to thank Ryan Reynolds. “Thank you to Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy for letting me be a part of such an incredible movie!” Evans wrote along with a photo of the four gentlemen from the set.
Evans continued, “They’re three of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. Special thank you to Ryan for making it all happen. Playing Johnny again was a dream come true and he’ll always have a special place in my heart.” Evans’ comeback took fans by surprise.

Channing Tatum Also Thanked Ryan Reynolds For The Role Of Gambit
Apart from Chris Evans as Human Torch, other stars who also showed up for cameos include Jennifer Garner’s Elektra and Wesley Snipes’ Blade. Channing Tatum also got to play Gambit, a role he has been after for quite some time in ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’.
So the grateful Tatum also thanked Reynolds in a social media post. “I thought I had lost Gambit forever,” Tatum wrote. Tatum added that Reynolds “fought for me and Gambit and I will owe him probably forever. Cause I’m not sure how I could ever do something that would be equal to what this has meant to me. I love ya buddy.”
