Usually home to nature-defying and meta-humans, The DC and Marvel have alternate universes where this is not really the case. Both of these franchises have their own universes where heroics have turned into horrors.
This includes versions of Earth where the most powerful beings of them all have transformed into blood-thirsty, evil vampires trying to feast on the living. So, who has the scariest vampire versions of their superheroes, DC or Marvel?

DC’s Vampire Multiverse Of Earth-43
On Earth-43, Batman is turned into a vampire after his encounter with Dracula. Fighting off tendencies with his will, the death of Catwoman at the hands of the Joker finally broke it for him. This led to Batman killing the Joker and draining his blood.
Batman then passed on his infection to the rest of the Justice League, which was renamed as the Blood League. The Blood League had then gone on a rampage in the quest for blood, wiping out humans one at a time. They were eventually stopped by Earth-13 League of Shadows who hilariously turned their bloodlust into a desire for coffee.

Marvel’s Lords Of Vampires
On Earth-3931, Baron Blood defeated Captain America and took over him, and turned him into a vampire. Captain America then took on the mantle of the Vampire King and spread the virus to other heroes.
On Earth-9140, the X-Men were defeated and taken over by Dracula. Wolverine had the strength to defy him and became the new Lord of The Vampires. This led to him corrupting every mutant in his reality and spreading the infection out to all of New York. Eventually the Punisher and Doctor Strange joined forces to take Wolverine down.
Though both the franchises have their fair share of good guys turned into vampires, avid readers of the comics will know that DC has some of the scariest of the lot. Compared to Marvel, whose vampires meet their end, DC vampires lurk in the dark to strike their next victim for their blood.
