In the deleted scene titled ‘Elevator Ride’, which will also be included as bonus content on the upcoming digital and physical releases, Deadpool finds himself with Time Variance Authority. Paradox explains the concept of the Multiverse to Wade. “This may come as a shock to a narcissistic, blathering bag of meat like yourself, but your universe is not the only one in existence,” he states.

However, Deadpool being Deadpool can’t help but make a witty remark about the MCU’s multiverse-focused films. “Oh please, you think I haven’t seen Doctor Ant and the Quantumverse of Madness?” Deadpool says. This was a clear reference to ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ and ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’.

Additionally, this wasn’t the first time Doctor Strange was referenced in the films. In the official film, Deadpool uses Dr. Strange’s sling ring to create a “Marvel Sparkle Circle.” In addition, Ant-Man’s skeleton is also featured in the film as Cassandra Nova’s Lair.
