Ryan Reynolds, the beloved actor behind the Merc with a Mouth, is in the spotlight yet again and this time for sharing yet another deleted ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ scene. On November 12, the film made its Disney+ debut.
To celebrate the movie’s streaming release, Reynolds shared a hilarious, never-before-seen deleted scene. Additionally, the actor also teased another project featuring him alongside Hugh Jackman and director Shawn Levy.
The Deleted Scene Featured Deadpool Getting Insulted By Other Deadpool Variants
The scene, which was cut from the final film but still has a special place in Reynolds’ heart, shows Deadpool and Wolverine surrounded by a group of Deadpool variants. In true Deadpool fashion, the clip opens with the character talking about his bond with Peter.
However, instead of being a wholesome moment, it turns into the character getting bombarded with insults from the Deadpool variants. One of the variants says, “Get f***ed d***head,” followed by “Piss off,” while another adds, “Go back to Canada, a***ole,” poking fun at Reynolds’ Canadian roots.
The insults continue, with various variants chiming in with not-so-kind words like “f*** off” and “loser.” To add more to the hilariousness, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is standing there shaking his head in disbelief. It’s an absurd, over-the-top moment that’s perfectly in line with Deadpool’s irreverent humor. Reynolds posted the clip on both his Instagram Stories and X. “This scene was deleted from the film but not my heart,” he wrote.
Ryan Reynolds Is In The Process Of Writing A New Film With Hugh Jackman And Shawn Levy
In addition to the deleted scene, Ryan Reynolds also previously opened up about his close friendship with Hugh Jackman, which has only deepened over the past decade. While talking to People, the actors discussed the importance of their connection. Jackman shared how Reynolds has been an incredible listener, particularly in recent years.

“Ever since I’ve known you, and I would say in particular in the last five, 10 years, we’ve had more time where we go for our walks because you’re an unbelievable listener,” Jackman said to Reynolds. “So you can tell me anything and I can tell you anything, and I don’t feel like you’re going to be judging or necessarily giving me the answer: ‘Do this.’ And I think that has been the key.”
Reynolds, known for his quick wit, expressed similar sentiments. “I am genuinely rooting for you, all the time. I want you to win,” he said. He also pointed to how this mutual support extends to his relationship with his wife, Blake Lively. “It’s the same way I feel about Blake,” Reynolds added. “I know she’s rooting for me, and it’s why we’re so connected.”
Additionally, fans of the duo can look forward to more from them in the future. However, this time in a non-Marvel film. The actor revealed he is writing a new non-Marvel movie that will reunite him, Hugh Jackman, and director Shawn Levy once again.
