After getting fired from DCEU, and leaving the ‘Witcher’ franchise, Henry Cavill’s career in Hollywood seemed to be hanging by a thread. But recently MCU seemed to have opened its doors to the ‘Witcher’ star.
Rumors have been going around about Henry Cavill joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe ever since his DC exist. While many fans have speculated that he will take up the mantle of Captain Britain or might play one of the mutants from X-Men.

Henry Cavill Will Be Part Of Marvel’s X-Men
MCU has been planning to introduce the X-Men into the franchise long before Deadpool and Wolverine. The inclusion of mutants was hinted at in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ as well as in ‘Ms. Marvel’, however, the threequel of ‘Deadpool’ will finally witness the comeback of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine after seven years.
With the introduction of mutants, there is a possibility of Henry Cavill embodying one of them. With rumors of Cavill signing a deal with MCU, fans have been anticipating his role. Recently revealed that the Superman star has likely reached an agreement to portray one of two X-Men characters in the MCU. One possibility is Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine or maybe even Cyclops.
There is also speculation that Cavill will embody ‘Fantastic Four’s archnemesis, Doctor Doom. With numerous Marvel projects lined him up, Cavill’s inclusion is for sure, but the role he will take up has infinite possibilities.

Henry Cavill Expressed Intrest In Playing Captain Britain
Fans’ excitement is beyond bounds as they keep releasing fan-fiction posters of Cavill in various suits of Marvel heroes. However, there is one character in particular that Cavill has expressed his interest in. The actor is eagerly looking forward to playing Captain Britain a.k.a Brian Braddock.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter Henry Cavill said, “I have the internet and I have seen the various rumors about Captain Britain and that would be loads of fun to do a cool, modernized version of that — like the way they modernized Captain America. There’s something fun about that, and I do love being British.”
