Jonathan Majors, the once-rising star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has opened up about his feelings following the decision to replace him as Kang the Conqueror with Robert Downey Jr‘s return to the franchise as the supervillain Doctor Doom. Following the legal suit against him Marvel dropped the actor.
In a candid interview with TMZ, the actor expressed his disappointment and heartbreak over losing the iconic role. Additionally, Marvel is said to be on the lookout for another Kang.

Majors’ career trajectory took a dramatic turn after the multiple assault charges. Moreover, the subsequent legal battles and public scrutiny undoubtedly impacted his professional life, leading to his departure from the Marvel franchise.
Additionally, when asked about the possibility of reprising the role, Majors enthusiastically responded, “I love him. I love Kang. If that’s what the fans want, and that’s what Marvel wants then let’s roll. Hell yeah.” His words clearly express the desire Majors has to return as Kang.

Majors Also Shared Disappointment Over Robert Downey Jr. Casting As Dr. Doom
Jonathan Majors has candidly expressed his disappointment over Robert Downey Jr. taking on the role of the next Marvel villain Dr. Doom. This might be as the role was originally intended for him with Kang being the main focus. In the same interview, the actor admitted to being “heartbroken” by the news.
Despite the setback, Majors acknowledged Downey Jr.’s iconic status and the positive reception he’s received. “I think it’s fair that Mr Downey is being and has been greeted with patience and curiosity and love… and allowed to work his art and be creative at that level,” Majors said. However, he claimed that he did not get the same chances as him.
