After a lot of struggles, fairly average projects, and negative critics, Marvel is finally seeing light over its Phase Five, as the studio has an interesting lineup. One of them is ‘Thunderbolts‘ which will be the sixth and the last film of the phase. The film will serve as a sequel to ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ and ‘Black Widow’.
Due to the WAG strike, ‘Thunderbolts’ was delayed and faced with multiple problems including casting. However, the actor, Lewis Pullman who has been rumored to be a part of the project has finally responded to the speculations.

Lewis Pullman Gave A Cryptic Response Over The Sentry Rumors
If the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been constant for something, it has to be the cryptic responses it gives to the press. During the recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet of the Film Independent Spirit Awards, ‘Top Gunn Maverick’ star was asked whether he was heading to shoot the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie soon indicating the ongoing rumors about him helming Sentry.
Lewis Pullman remained cryptic and mysterious about it, neither confirming nor denying his participation in the movie, but instead joked about how much he liked the venue of the awards. Pullman said, “I am having fun in Santa Monica. You know, I’m just going wherever the wind takes me. Yeah.”
Initially, the ‘Walking Dead’ star, Steven Yuen was reported to play Sentry, but because of the delays and the scheduling conflict, Yuen walked away from ‘Thunderbolts’. Since then the fans have been speculating that Lewis Pullman is reeled in to replace Steven Yuen.

‘Thunderbolts’ Star Florence Pugh Shares An Exciting Update
After a series of delays and casting issues, Thunderbolts have finally found its track. During an Entertainment Tonight interview, Florence Pugh revealed that the Thunderbolts have just started filming.
Pugh has had a hectic year with ‘Oppenheimer’, promotion of ‘Dune: Part Two’ and now committing to her latest Marvel project
The film is said to feature a team of reformed supervillains, who will be led by the Winter Soldier and Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, confronting Sentry who is a powerful and unstable hero. Originally slated for a delayed release, ‘Thunderbolts’ will now hit the theaters on May 2, 2025.
