‘Deadpool’ films have been successful at the box office despite that they have been R-rated. The second film was released in 2018 but development for a third film became difficult following the acquisition of 20th Century Fox by Disney. The acquisition led to the cancelation of several projects that were planned to be released sometime in the future.

However, ‘Deadpool 3’ entered development in 2019 in association with Marvel Studios. The film is confirmed to be R-rated like the first two films and Kevin Feige confirmed that the film would be set in the MCU. Shawn Levy has been hired to helm the film with Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick penning the screenplay.

Apart from Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine. ‘Deadpool 3’ is scheduled to be released in theatres on November 8, 2024.

While most of the Marvel projects have brought back their lost glory by bringing something better, ‘Fantastic Four’ is one of those which deteriorated with a reboot in 2015. Kevin Feige confirmed a new Fantastic Four set in the MCU in 2019 and although Jon Watts was hired as the director, he stepped down to take a break from superhero films.

The producers had discussions with Matt Shakman, who was the director of WandaVision and Feige confirmed in September 2022 that Shakman will be in the director’s chair once again. ‘Fantastic Four’ is confirmed to be released on February 14, 2025.
