Karan Soni has made a place in the Hollywood industry through his amazing supporting roles. He recently appeared in ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ as Dopinder, the lovable Indian cab driver.
Moreover, Soni is also a superhero in the Indian multiverse. He appeared as the Indian variant of Spider-Man in the animated version of ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’. The actor was asked about his role in the Marvel movie and also the future of his animated role in the Indian version.
‘Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-Verse’ Is Deep Into Production And The Recording Will Start Soon
During an interview with Times Of India, Karan Soni revealed he’s going to start the shooting for ‘Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse’. He’s excited about the production of the movie and described the process as “lengthy and deep”.
He said, “I’m continuing on for Spider-Man. We’re going to start recording for that one in a few months which I’m so excited about. That movie is deep in production. It’s animation, so it’s different and takes a long time. We’ll see when it’s ready and when it ends up coming out, but, I’m really excited”.
Karan Soni is currently celebrating the success of the blockbuster film ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’. His roles add that perfect touch of humour to the movie. During an interview with ET Times, Soni was asked about the possibility of an Indian version of Deadpool, to which he replied, “I hadn’t even thought about Indian Deadpool, that would be so good. Yeah. I mean, I think that would be amazing. I would happy, if they were like, ‘Do you want to just do that?”
Regarding the future of the superhero, Karan Soni is not very well informed about whether Deadpool will be added to the universe or not. He’s optimistic that Deadpool X Spider-Man (Indian version) might happen in the future.

Karan Soni Reveals Everyone Was Well Aware About His “Pavitr Prabhakar” At The Shoot Of ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’
Soni shared that while shooting for ‘Deadpool And Wolverine‘ everyone was aware of the Indian version of Spiderman and they praised his work as well.
Karan Soni shared, “You know, when we were shooting, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, Ryan had gone with Sean, the director to see ‘Across The Spider-Verse’ and they loved it! they talked a lot about it and were kind about it, so they are definitely aware about the stuff”.
Moreover, Soni also notices how he fell in love with his animated character Spider-Man. Helios talked about the emotional impact it made being a comic book hero on the young audience, especially children.
He continued, “What’s been really emotional is people really love that character. Not just my version, but Spider-Man. Obviously, I was a fan of it when I was a kid, but it is cool to be a part of something that affects young people that much and moves them because that’s the purest reaction you’ll ever get. So I feel lucky to be asked back to do a little bit more of that.”
