‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is one of the most anticipated crossover events in the MCU, but that doesn’t mean that all the heroes will be united. Marvel has always tended to make characters do things that are morally complex when the stakes are high.
If Doctor Doom truly becomes the central threat, he may not need to defeat the Avengers through force alone. It could be a more dangerous tactic to convince some of them to join his side.
Some MCU Heroes Will Put Their Own Agendas Over The Avengers
The Avengers have already been called into question by several big characters in the MCU. Namor has never been a believer in the surface world. Namor’s loyalty is always to Talokan first, and if Doom can ensure that his kingdom is protected or that he offers an alliance that’s beneficial to his people, then he might be willing to challenge Earth’s heroes.

Another intriguing option is Doctor Strange. He has made many difficult decisions throughout the Multiverse Saga to save reality. If Doom presents a solution that appears to preserve the multiverse, Strange might at least consider it, even if it puts him at odds with the Avengers.
Yelena Belova also doesn’t fit the traditional superhero mold. She’s never been motivated by the Avengers’ legacy or ideals. Rather, she walks with people and causes that are just. She may choose to take a different course if she thinks the Avengers are taking too many chances .
The Biggest Wildcards Are Undoubtedly Sentry And The Scarlet Witch
The most terrifying one is Sentry. While Bob Reynolds wants to be a hero, the terrifying Void lurking inside him makes him one of the most unpredictable characters in the MCU. During the events of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, the Avengers could be up against one of their own as the Void takes control.

Then there’s Wanda Maximoff. Even after all these years, Wanda still is one of Marvel’s most complex characters. Her grief has already forced her to rewrite the truth once. Even the faintest possibility of her being able to rebuild the family she lost would be a huge emotional temptation.
It remains to be seen whether she will take or refuse the proposal, but that could be one of the most pivotal moments in the movie. These are just possibilities until Marvel gives us more information about the story. If ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is looking to up the ante, though, it’s going to be much more interesting to have some of its trusted heroes start to doubt themselves.
