Max Eisenhardt, also known as Magneto is a Holocaust survivor who suffered through prejudice as a mutant. Therefore, he has a desire for mutant domination. He has exceptional powers of pulling anything with lethal accuracy and bending metallic objects without breaking a sweat.

Additionally, he can even destroy and pull iron particles in the human body. The power that Magneto holds is colossal. However, it is his ideologies and his genius mind that cause trouble for Professor X

    9. Apocalypse

En Sabah Nur or Apocalypse, is an ancient mutant who thinks of himself as the next stage in the evolution of mankind. He has a plethora of powers that are inherent to a mutant. Additionally, he has super-strength, durability, and the ability to assimilate other people’s powers.

Apocalypse’s most terrible enemy remains the techno-organic virus that gives him immortality and drives him into becoming the ruler of the world. Imagine the X-Men coming up against a character who can knock them out with a single punch and also strip them of their powers.

    8. Juggernaut

Cain Marko is a hulk of a man with a pathetic background. Juggernaut who weighs a whopping 862 kgs gained the power of Cyttorak’s Crimson Gem, making him an unmovable force of physical strength.

Additionally, he is nearly invincible and has super-strength that lets him hit mountains as if they were made of clay. The downside? He is not the most tactful person in the world. With him tearing Deadpool apart without breaking a sweat his physical powers are almost unbeatable.

     7. Shadow King

Amahl Farouk or the Shadow King is an evil telepath with the power to feed on people’s phobias and anxieties. Additionally, he can control minds, alter memories, and create realistic illusions.

The Shadow King is a master of mind games, which puts him on equal terms with the most powerful telepaths making him very dangerous. The X-Men may be able to throw a punch. However, what is that against a villain who can play mind games with them? He is very much into mind games and it does not take much to send the sanest of the mutants over the edge.

    6. Mr. Sinister

Nathaniel Essex, also known as Mr. Sinister, is an evil genius with great knowledge in genetics who also has it out for the X-Men, especially Scott Summers, Cyclops. With his genes-altering powers, he can create all sorts of horrific creatures.

He is a man of intelligence and has no qualms about using any means to achieve his goal. In addition to that he is a real mastermind who is more than willing to wait for years to get what he wants. Additionally, he is one of the kinds of villains that can keep Professor X awake at night.

The evil and brutal Arkady Rossovich aka Omega Red is one of the Soviet Union’s Weapon X creations. Additionally, his body is covered with the carbonadium coils that give him the enhanced strength, and power to drain life energy with his tentacles.

Moreover, he is a very aggressive and vicious martial artist, whose goal is to capture and kill Wolverine and who has an unquenchable thirst for the Force. The X-Men can certainly dish it out. However, Omega Red is one of those characters who can knock out anyone in one shot, or two, or ten.

    4. Proteus

Kevin MacTaggert or Proteus, is a reality warper whose god complex is as big as a huge jet. He has the power to alter reality on a quantum level, even changing the laws of physics.

Additionally, Proteus is a true psychopath, a villain, and a monster in the sense of the word: a walking, talking, unpredictable danger. Just try to imagine how the X-Men will fight the enemy who is able to change reality just with his/her mind! Forget running from bullets, they would be running from whole buildings created out of thin air.

    3. Brood

The Brood is another terrifying species of aliens who lay their eggs in other sentient creatures. Telepathy is among their abilities, and they are also capable of controlling the bodies of their host, transforming them into monstrous appendages of the queen’s brood.

Additionally, the Brood is a collective intelligence with a single goal: to accommodate all living organisms. They are a colony of parasite monsters and it is as if you are constantly in a battle with a horde of body snatchers making it even more horrifying.

    2. Onslaught

Onslaught is a psychic being created from the dark side of Professor X’s anger and Magneto’s militancy. He has the abilities of telepathy and psychokinesis of an extreme level thus making him almost invincible.

Additionally, Onslaught is a grim and harrowing tale about the capacity of destruction even in the best of people. He is the X-Men’s worst nightmare, their own teacher turned into some near-god-like figure on the brink of anger and hatred. Onslaught is one of the strongest psychics that can twist minds and reality with his hands.

    1. Phoenix Force

The Phoenix Force is a cosmic power that represents the ideas of birth and death. Additionally, it has attached to several mutants over the years, but the most notable was Jean Grey where it gave them control over fire, life, and time.

The Phoenix Force is an amazing power. However, at the same time, it is a curse that even the most powerful characters have to endure. It is the wild card of the game, a friend when in the right hand and a deadly weapon when in the wrong hand. Moreover, the Phoenix Force is something that the X-Men can never defeat because it is a force of nature, magnificent, beautiful, and destructive.

However, fear not, X-Men fans! As long as Professor X has a plan and Wolverine has his claws, these villains will be defeated… eventually.
