Origin And Power
Once while Ted Sallis was working in the Florida Everglades trying to reinvent the serum that turned Steve Rogers into Captain America he was caught in a mishap. However, Ted injected himself with a serum he made before his car crashed into the Nexus of All Realities which is the magical swamp. This led to his transformation from a human to a swamp-dwelling monster. He started living in the isolated parts of the Florida Everglades.
The accidentally made superhero is immensely powerful. He has superhuman strength, speed, and endurance. Man-thing holds the power of regeneration even from little scraps because of his plant-based body. His powers however are not limited and increase by feeding on emotions like fear which is a huge plus point.
