While ‘Jane the Virgin‘ fame Justin Baldoni will also be starring alongside Lively. Yes, finally Hoover’s bestselling novel ‘It Ends With Us’, is being made into a movie.
Hoover has sold more than 20 million books and is one of the best-selling authors in the country. ‘It Ends With Us‘ was published in 43 languages and was the top-selling print book of 2022. Colleen Hoover’s ‘It Ends With Us’ To Become A Movie
The romance novel was optioned by James Baldoni and the Wayfarer Studios back in 2019. It is currently in development at Sony Pictures. Baldoni will be directing the movie. While the script is adapted by Christy Hall.
Jamey Heath will produce on behalf of Wayfarer Studios and Alex Saks will produce for Saks Picture Company. Lively and Hoover along with other members including Steve Sarowitz, Andrew Calof, and Baldoni will be the executive producers, co-financing the movie.
The novel revolves around a small-town girl named Lily Bloom who is starting her life after college in Boston. Lily meets a neurosurgeon named Ryle whom she develops feelings. Between the ongoing romance appears Atlas Corrigan, Lily’s first love who challenges the relationship. The book was published back in 2016 and gained fame through bookToks. The book was also on the New York Times bestseller list for 90 weeks.

Blake Lively And Justin Baldoni To Star In The Movie
‘The Age of Adaline’ actress Blake Lively is having a big year ahead. Along with the Colleen Hoover project, she is also making her feature directorial debut with the movie ‘Seconds’. This upcoming movie is an adaptation of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s graphic novel. The Gossip Girl actress directed Taylor Swift’s music video ‘I Bet You Think About Me’ last year. She will also reprise her role in ‘A Simple Favor’ sequel along with Anna Kendrick.
The former ‘Jane the Virgin’ star Justin Baldoni is the co-founder of Wayfarer Studios. In addition, he has also directed two films for the banner-‘Five Feet Apart’ and ‘Clouds’.
