With Reneé Rapp reprising the role of the most iconic bully in Hollywood history, the ‘Mean Girls’ remake managed to produce one of the best musical adaptations in recent times. After all, a singing Regina George is ten times less scary than an eye-rolling one.

The film garnered mostly positive reviews, with critics applauding the fresh faces and new twists to the story. The characters took it off with a lot of brilliant songs- both catchy and with well-written lyrics. The plot of the new film remains the same but with a more musical tone.

The film boasted a great number of songs and a cast that successfully could remake the vibe of the old film. As the cast and makers continue to get interviewed for their work on their film, more details about the film are also being revealed.

In one such interview, two of the actors talked about a potential Harry Styles feature in the film.

Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr talked about their time on set, and how they discussed a potential Harry Styles feature as Glen Coco.

Glen Coco isn’t really an important character, he just happens to be there in a single scene where Damian is giving out candy canes and Coco gets four of them, in response to which, Damian says, “‘Glen Coco? FOUR for you Glen Coco! You go, Glen Coco!'”

Talking to The Hollywood Reporter the ladies talked about how they wanted to cast Harry as Glen Coco and said that the cast wondered who Glen Coco was, to which Perez responds and says, “Who can it be? I remember us going, could we ask, like Harry Styles?”

Jayne then continues and says, “We were like Harry Styles could be Glen Coco! Then we were like, hold on, we love to break the fourth wall: What if we are all Glen Coco? So, after 20 years, we can all feel like Glen Coco.”
