They have yielded a positive response.

Bob Bakish, President of Paramount Global, has confirmed they have another hit movie on their hands. He also spoke highly of Tom Cruise in the film. But of course, there’s one change he wants to make to the movie.

I haven’t seen all of ‘MI:7,’ but I’ve seen a bunch of it. We actually just did the first test screening for an audience last week, and the audience lost their mind. And it’s still too long, they’ve got to cut it. But the movie is insane. It’s like a complete thrill ride. And Tom, he’s very good.” said the Paramount President.

Despite being delayed because of COVID-19, Cruise, and the crew pulled together and shot the film by September 2021. Written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One stars Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales, Rob Delaney, Henry Czerny, and Cary Elwes.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One‘ has a theatrical release date of July 14, 2023. The sequel, ‘Dead Reckoning Part Two‘ has a theatrical release date of June 28, 2024.
