Nick and Audrey Spitz are back, but this time with a touch of Indian magic. What can go wrong with an Indian wedding? Does the groom get kidnapped or maybe the ex-girlfriend turns out to be a psycho killer or does an amateur detective couple solves the mystery? Jennifer Anniston and Adam Sandler’s starrer, ‘Murder Mystery 2‘ delivers a hilarious, action-packed, entertaining sequel to the original film
The first movie proved that a hairdresser and an ex-cop can solve crimes. Although it is not their strong suit, ‘Murder Mystery 2‘ opens with the couple quitting their day jobs and attempting to run their detective agency. Accusing a loving husband of planning an anniversary surprise for infidelity is not exactly a great detective skill. But when the Sptiz’s best friend Vick – the Maharaja is kidnapped on the day of his wedding it puts the couple’s detective skills to the test.

What Happens At The End Of ‘Murder Mystery 2’?
Nick and Audrey Spitz are invited to the Maharaja’s wedding on a secluded island but the events do not go as planned and the groom is kidnapped, leaving behind four suspects- Vick’s business partner Francisco, Vick’s sister Saira, his fiance Claudette, and his ex-fiance Countess Sekou and her sidekick.
Enters the real detective Connor Miller, who plants Nick and Audrey as suspects just to throw them off their game. It takes a globetrotting adventure for Nick and Audrey to clear their name and expose the real identity responsible for kidnapping the Maharaja for a $70 million ransom.
Just when you think Connor Miller is dead, things get complicated, and new shreds of evidence surface. Meanwhile, everyone had their eyes on the ransom than on saving the Maharaja. Initially, the ransom was in the hands of Nick and Aundrey Spitz, which Miller stole. Countess Sekou and her sidekick steal the money from Miller and double-cross each other.
After a crazy night of witnessing suspects double-crossing each other, everyone alive- Francisco, Saira, Claudette, and Colonel meet in the restaurant up the Eiffel tower. As it turns out Connor Miller is very much alive and is willing to blow off the entire Eiffel tower by attaching the vest bomb to the Maharaja.
After a very entertaining and interruptive fight, Miller is finally dead for sure this time. But there is an accomplice hiding within the Maharaja’s soiree wanting him dead. Surprisingly the sibling war never seems to end. Saira, Maharaja’s sister has always been jealous of her brother’s inheritance. And after an unsuccessful attempt to kill Vic in Mumbai, she teamed up with Connor Miller to abduct Vic.
Though Audrey’s shooting skills are awful, her hairdresser knacks are spot on. She quickly connected the pieces- discarded stained jacket to smeared henna tattoo on Saira’s hand as Nick revealed her true motive. Baffled by the accusations, she once again tried to shoot her brother, who was saved by the Colonel. But wait there’s more!

Why Does The Pilot Turn Against Nick And Audrey At The End?
Just when you think the movie has ended on a smooth plane ride, the series of events unexpectedly changes. When Nick and Audrey are off on their honeymoon in Athens, their pilot drops his fake accent, points a gun at them, and after grabbing the loot he jumps off the plane.
There might be two possibilities, either the pilot is a con man, who has been secretly tracking Nick and Audrey and finally found his chance to rob them. Or he is been secretly working with Connor Miller, and carrying on the mission after his death.
If Netflix plans for a threequel, this would be the plot from which the third film might get picked up. It leaves Nick and Audrey in a place where they have to prevent their helicopter from crashing as they approach their new destination. Their attempt to retrieve the stolen loot will leave a long trail of murders behind. But till then let’s hope Colonel does not lose yet another hand!
