Indeed, Winona Ryder will be back in her role of Lydia Deetz after almost 35 years. The shots depict Ryder in her iconic Lydia Deetz avatar with goth black hair and pointed bangs.
In ‘Beetlejuice‘, Ryder played the lead role. Lydia Deetz befriends a ghostly couple, Adam and Barbara. But the ghostly couple hires Beetlejuice to scare away the Deetzs. But Beetlejuice turns out to be harmful and wreaks havoc not only in the house but the town as well. When the Maitlands get in trouble, Lydia panics and calls Beetlejuice for help. But he tells her that in return for his help, Lydia must marry him.

No plot details have been revealed yet about ‘Beetlejuice 2′. We do know that Catherine O’Hara will also be returning besides Winona Ryder. This would mean that we will get to see Delia Deetz in the upcoming film as well.
Apart from that, Jenna Ortega is part of the cast and she will be playing Lydia’s daughter. Monica Bellucci is also on-board as Bettlejuice’s wife and Michael Keaton is also returning as the notorious Bettlejuice.
