We actually don’t know,” Hageman said during the interview. “We wrote a draft, Guillermo had a story direction of where to take it… We know a lot of people liked it, but we also know that nothing’s happening right now,” he added.
So it seems that fans who have been anticipating another round of spine-tingling stories from Alvin Schwartz’s renowned children’s novels will be disappointed at least for a while, until further confirmation about the film’s status.
