Taylor Swift is extending her support for BFF Ryan Reynolds and his co-star Hugh Jackman as they buckle up for their recently released film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine.’ The highly anticipated Marvel film is currently the most talked about project in recent months, and Swift is urging her fans to watch it.
The pop star was also rumored to be a part of the film, as many kept guessing who would play the role of Lady Deadpool teased in the film’s trailers. The rumors, however, were refuted later. Even though it’s confirmed now that Swift wont be a part of the film, she is promoting it with all her might. Here’s what she said about Reynolds’ new film.
Taylor Swift Urges Fans To Watch ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’
Taylor Swift took to her Instagram Story section to write a lengthy story praising Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s work in the film, alongside a picture of herself with both the actors, as well as Blake Lively and Shawn Levy. As fans noted, the picture was from when they all hung out at a Chiefs game and were seen enjoying Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce’s match.
In the caption of the post, the singer wrote, “Over the past few years I have watched one of my best friends on this planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film.”
“He’s created the best work of his life, and this film feels like an actual joy portal, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich. I don’t know how he did it. But that’s just Hugh for you!” she added with a humorous twist.
“Shout out to Wade Wilson, aka my godkids’ sperm donor!” she wrote, finally referring to Ryan Reynolds, along with a link for fans to get tickets from.

Is Taylor Swift A Part Of ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’?
Many fans were excited to to see what the project will bring, as the cast and director teased a number of surprise cameos for fans upon the film’s release. One of the rumors surrounding the film suggested that Swift will make an appearance, with many sources guessing she will be playing the role of Dazzler.
Although the cast also went along with the rumors and teased a potential cameo by the pop star, it was later confirmed that there are no such cameos by Swift in the film. However fans can expect future cameos from Swift, considering the sources and Swift’s close friendship with Reynolds.
