‘Dune 2‘ is raking in good reviews and its record-breaking box office success. With a star cast as awe-gazing as Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh and Austin Butler it wasn’t a shock. However, the big names on the credits aren’t the only reason behind making Denis Villeneuve’s epic sci-fi drama into this year’s blockbuster.
The Warner Bros. Pictures creation is a follow-up of Paul Atreides’s story. A man leading the Fremen people of Arrakis to fight against the rule of Harkonnens. The out-of-the-world storyline, quite literary adds a much more intense depth to its characters. From their dialogue delivery to their appearance, everything went as close to realism as possible.

Austin Butler joined the cast of ‘Dune‘ universe for its sequel as a villain. Now as an alien antagonist Butler’s transformation was terrifying, to say the least. Timothée Chalamet On Working With Austin Butler
On the terrifying transformation part, the ‘Call Me By Your Name’ star echoed Zendaya’s sentiments. He worked his first reaction to ‘Elvis’ star as “cr*zy.” But as the professional actors they are, they all got past it. During the preparation for the sequel, Chalamet admitted to finding the action sequences with Butler a bit hard but it all worked out pretty well in the end so there’s that.
The actor seems very satisfied with their performance, stating, “It was a lot of rehearsal. A lot of practice in LA, before even getting over to Hungary. But it was a dream.” Now to be the judge of his satisfaction we have to see those hard-practiced clash scenes between Chalamet’s Paul Atreides and Butler’s Feyd-Rautha.
