In August 2023, Taylor Swift announced the release of the ‘Eras Tour’ concert film exclusively to the US audience at the AMC Theater chains. She announced that the film will be released on October 13, 2023, in the US. After the end of the Writer’s Strike, Taylor Swift announced the worldwide release of the concert film.
However, recently, during the premiere night of Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ concert film release, she announced that US and Canadian fans would witness the magic of the ‘Eras Tour’ film a day before the scheduled date. Taylor took to her Instagram, saying, “Look what you genuinely made me do: Due to unprecedented demand we’re opening up early access showings of The Eras Tour Concert Film on THURSDAY in America and in Canada!! As in… TOMORROW.”
She continued, “We’re also adding additional showtimes Friday and throughout the weekend. All tickets will be available by 10am tomorrow morning. And it’ll be showing starting Friday in 90 countries all over the world.”

The AMC Theaters released an official report, informing them that the film has earned $100 million in early pre-sales. Taylor and her team have already earned $60 million through the pre-sales of the tickets.
The Hollywood Reporter has estimated that the ‘Eras Tour’ concert film will gross $150 million–$200 million during the opening weekend. The $100-$125 million figure will come from US earnings, and the remaining $50 million to $75 million will come from overseas contributions.
