Taylor Swift can put people in any and every mood with her variety of songs. People are now conditioned to think about Swift whenever music is mentioned. World Mental Health Day is recognized on 10 October and a new research connects people’s mental well-being to Swift.

The research digs deeper into examining the link between music and mental health among young people in the UK. Unsurprisingly, the Grammy singer is also credited with fixing fans’ mental health.

Taylor Swift’s Music Is A Remedy For Mental Health Problems

While 52% of youth don’t know how to cope with bad mental health, new research by O2 has highlighted over 80% of young people agree that music 88% and 83% of live events have a positive impact on their mood and well-being. The O2 and its charity partner YoungMinds examined the link between music and live entertainment and mental health in young people aged 14-25 in the UK.

According to the research, The ‘Enchanted’ singer was ranked as the number one artist leaving a positive impact on the mood and well-being of young people with Ed Sheeran ranking second. Taylor Swift had a 32% positive impact on people’s moods compared to other artists. However, the ‘Photograph‘ singer had a 28% positive impact on the listeners.

The Artist 100 measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, and streaming to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity. Ed Sheeran found a new position from 17 to 3 and Olivia Rodrigo descended from 2 to 4 while Zach Bryan dropped to 5 from 3.
